Winter Workwear with Lookbookstore

Somedays (okay, more like everyday) I have the hardest time getting up in the morning. I HATE waking up in the mornings. It's one of the worst feelings in the world- along with wet socks, getting caught farting in public, and vomiting. Just to name a few. Lately, I've discovered a new trick to helping me get up in the morning. After I reach for my phone to turn off the alarm, I then start scrolling through emails, news, instagram and facebook. Within a couple minutes, I am alert with giggles, random and useless information, and outfit ideas for the work day! The power of social media I tell ya! Do you guys do this too? Tell me I'm not the only weirdo who does this! Whatever it takes to get me to work on time...

I'm starting to enjoy instagram more and more now that I've figured out the whole hashtag, @system (talk about delayed). Lookbookstore posts so many cute outfits everyday that totally make me smile. They generously sent me a few items awhile back but I didn't have an opportunity to take any pictures. I have worn this top so many times to work already, as it serves as a really nice layering piece and looks great with a suit jacket.     haha i HATE waking up early as well..although i wake up and check e-mails and instagram when i sleep in, i never thought of doing it as a way to make waking up earlier easier, so i shall give it a try!

    Pretty top! Getting up on these dark winter mornings is the pits. My husband set a "relaxation" alarm the other morning that included sounds of flowing water and animals and it was so unexpected it scared me from my sleep! Hope you and your family are enjoying the holidays!

    That IS a clever way to wake yourself up. I have a 5 month old kitten that walks all over me, licks my face and plays on bed, that gets me up. And BEAUTIFUL shirt btw.

    I try not to get on my phone first thing in the morning, but you're right: it does get my mind alert and then I can TRY to get out of bed! Notice I say try, it's the hardest thing for me too!!

    Also, I love the winter lace and those shoes are gorgeous!
